I am needing to replace the fuel relay switch on my 1996 subaru legacy outback, where is it located?

My car wont start ive changed plugs and fuel pump and now ive been told it could be the relay switch but dont know where it is of if it is that any suggestions and my car is a subaru impreza 93

    It is on the drivers side above the fuse box in the car. It is well hidden and very hard to get to. It is the relay with the green plug in connector in it. I got mine out , not sure I will ever get it back in.

My subaru was running fine and later on the highway the car shut down;i cranked it again and it shut down after about 2miles. I changed out the fuel filter and the fuel pumps,but nothing worked. I have...


Try changing the ignition coil.
The easy way to test this, is turn the ignition on,for about thirty second's ,then feel the coil ,if it is hot ,replace it.
