Very common for window door switch to get worn out. Also common for wire in boot going through from door to kick panel to be corroded &/or broken.

My blower motor dosent work on my 2005 mercury sable

Probably your blower resistor switch (it's the part that gives you your fan speeds) is bad. You can test your blower by applying 12volts to it and see if it spins. The blower motor and resistor switch are both under/behind your glove box. Both should be easily accessible after removing panel above feet.

2002 mercury mountaineer on e window not working

All the windows are on the same fuse, if the other windows are working fine, it's not a fuse issue. I susppect the motor or the window regulator.
With your ear close to the door panel, press the window switch up and down, if you hear the motor and grinding noises then the window regulator needs to be replaced, if you don't hear anything then the motor is bad OR no power is getting to the motor. either way you will have to take the door panel off and to fix.

Back window does not work on a 2002 mercury sable

hi, if it has electric windows then the chances are the fault is going to be one of two problems the first could be that the switch that you press to open and close the window has failed and needs replacing.
You can test if the switch is at fault by swapping the switch from the working door to this one and then try to see if it then works if it does then you need a new switch if it still dont work then your going to need a new electric window motor.

The switches just pull out so swapping them over is easy to do and this will then let you know what the exact fault is.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

1997 Mercury Sable driver's side electric window won't go up.

In spite of your actual problem, you want your window up correct? Take a large rubber hammer and with the key on and the switch being help up rap the flat surface of the bottom of the door several times. I'm certain thwindow will go up. If it does, you'll need a new window regulator motor,or, a complete asembly. If it does not go up you'll have to search your fuses under the hood and inside. Also check the relays by swapping one out with a similar one (shape/ size) and if the car won't start but, the window works you'll know what you need. Thank You, Dana:)

My 2002 mercury mountaineer window won't go back up. It's stuck. What should I do?

First you should check the fuse for the windows. If the fuse is good you should press the button for the window and listen for a noise. If you hear a noise, then the motor has most likely gone bad and needs to be replaced. If you do not hear any noise, the switch for the window could be bad. If you are mechanically inclined, take the door panel off and use a voltmeter to test and see if power is getting to the motor when you press the switch. If it is not, you need to replace the switch.
