Either in the condensor end of hoses or receiver dryer end of hoses. If hoses join in a union near dryer by firewall it is usually there between both unions.

Need an air conditioning diagram of 1997 Chevy Lumina for location of orfice tube placement.

If you look at the low pressure side line going from the dryer to the condenser you will find a crimped place and it is probably down by the condenser and that is where the orifice tube is.

Location of orifice tube in 2000 chevy venture

best advice is the method i would use to located the orifice tube in the 2000 chevy venture. check the automotive repair book section in your local library. Most libraries have repair manuals on their automotive shelf section. find the a/c manual for your year and model car. make a copy of the page that has the information you need. you will need to make a copy because the library will not let those manuals be checked out. you might want to google for the location of the orifice tube location. I hope this helps.

Where is the air conditioning filter on a 1994 GMC Sierra 4x4?

This is called an orfice tube, this is located on the highside line,(small line) its located at the connection going to evaporater core, remove the line and look inside the line, note make sure system is drained of freon before removing lines, also take note of the way the tube or filter goes into the line its important that you slide new filter in the same way.

Orfice tube location

the fixed orifice is located in the inlet tube to the evaporator core, this is where the small high pressure AC line from the compressor connects to the tube sticking out of the engine firewall, u will most likely need a special tool to remove it, here is a web link to the tool, don't damage the evaporator core by trying to remove the orifice tube without this if it is stuck down in the tube.

Hey I am haveing a problem with My 2500HD ac system. I have changed The Condensor, evaporator, and the Compressor. I have charged it to the correct levels. It blows cool air, but it doesn't get cold....

Did you change the Receiver/ Drier and the Orfice Tube/ Expansion Valve? The Receiver/ Drier takes moisture out of the system and the Orfice Tube/ Expansion Valve controls the Hot/ Cold air. If that is bad it may not be opening or closing fully which would not let your A/C get as cool as it supposed to.
