The sensor  is located  at the aft end of the engine at the top of the bell housing held in by  10 mm bolts,camshaft sensor  fits into the cylinder head by a single bolt. First you need remove  left side of  ignition coils because you need clear access to 10 mm bold of camshaft sensor.Then unplug wires,remove 10 mm blot ,pull out cps,install new cps,replace bolt,attach wires.

the common prob with renault is crankshaft position sensor its cheap easy fix its located above flywheel where engine and gearbox join 1 connector and 2 11mm headed bolts to remove. change that first

As long as you don't have a chip key you can but f you have a key that has an embedded chip in it you have to get te ecu reprogrammed at dealership

Jst put new cambelt on 54 plate corsa 1.8 16v sri now not starting getting code 0340 camshaft sensor can anyone help


Recheck the timing as possible it's 1 tooth out and this will give false reading from sensor if all is ok timing wise sensor at fault damaged, stressed wiring to sensor

I'D REPLACE THOSE SENSORS OR REPAIR THE WIRING WHICH EVER IS THE CAUSE. YOU NEED A LIVE DATA SCANNER TO DO THIS REPAIR MOST LIKELY. THAT MEANS THE DEALER.

Renualt grand scenic 1.9tdi 2007.2000rpm missfire


as this engine has a common rail fuel injection system the fault is the injectors.One of those are faulty.its probebly the solinoid on top of the injector at fault.Not opening the injector on time,The OBC gives out this signal to do so.

How to change spark plugs on 2002 mk4 automatic golf


1 - High Tension cable
  • 4 to 8 Kohms
  • With suppression connector and spark plug connector
  • Only remove and install spark plug connector using tool T10029
2 - Ignition coil with output stage (-N70-, -N127-, -N291-, -N292-)
Connection, ignition wires:
  • HV1 = Cylinder 1
  • HV2 = Cylinder 2
  • HV3 = Cylinder 3
  • HV4 = Cylinder 4
3 - 10 Nm 4 - Connector
  • 6 pin
5 - Knock sensor 1 -G61-*
  • Contacts gold plated
  • Fitting location: Cylinder block intake side
6 - 2-pin connector
  • For knock sensor 1 -G61-
  • Contacts gold plated
  • Do not interchange
7 - Knock sensor 2 -G66-*
  • Contacts gold plated

Trouble code 54 on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee


Carb'ed Engines:
Code 54 - Mixture Control (MC) solenoid is shorted or the ECM is faulty.

Fuel Injected Engines:
Code 54 - Camshaft (or distributor sync.) reference circuit - No camshaft position sensor signal detected during engine rotation.
