Never done one as yet on the later model but the XJ6 is fairly easy to do ,have a good look first and try to work it out as apart from removing the hoses and any panels on top of the rad it shouldnt be that difficult one the AC rad is un fixed from the main rad but left in place

If it's a tilt front end. You just pull the front clip off. All you have to do is disconect the wireing at the conecter. Lower the hood back down, and remove the hinge bolts. Then find a friend to help lift it off.

SOURCE: 2003 Jaguar S-Type, programming a key fob

If its a new key fob the only way you can program it is this the factory scan tool, u'll have to take it to a dealership for them to do this and they will charge you .5 hrs for labor.only x-types can be programmed without the jaguar software. Im guessing it will cost you between 40 and 50 bucks to have them program it.

SOURCE: 2003 S TYPE JAGUAR. DON'T DRIVE OFTEN BATTERY

You must charge the battery or you can use jumper cables from another battery to your battery to activate the electric trunk release, just be sure you hook up the jumper cables correctly ( cable to + on the battery and black to _ terminal of battery)and wear safety glasses when hooking up cables this should release the trunk. Also as a precaution always hook up + or red jumper cables wires first to prevent a arcing spark which is not terribly dangerous but this order in which to connect jumper cables is recommended.

I want to check the coolant level in the radiator on my 2003 Jaguar X-type. The reservior is empty so I want to check the radiator, but can't find the cap. Can you tell me where to look?

Behind the battery and next to the shock tower on the drivers side will be a plastic container called the expansion tank. The fluid should be visible. You can remove the cap to visually inspect it.
