Chocked up air filter is the normal cause but if this is clean then it could be the auto choke isnt turning off and may need a new temperature sensor .

How to set timing for the mazda mx3 1993 and if timing off canit eat gas

have you cleaned air filter, checked spark plugs. always look at the small things first, ask your garage for a blow by test to see if you have compression problems could also be head gasket any timing issue would result in a very rough idle.

My 1993 Pontiac Bonneville is eating gas like crazy...put over 20 dollars in gas and its still on empty.

it sounds like the sending unit float isn't working in the tank,or gas is just running out as your filling it

Eating gas bad no leaks

You either have a bad O2 sensor or you can try to reset you computer by disconnecting the ground cable on your battery for about a minute and then reconnecting it. It will then take about 50 to 200 miles for your computer to decide if everything is working right.

Can Gas in in oil hurt my engine

Yes it can. The gas will thin out the oil and you may spin a crank bearing, and the gas will also eat away your engine seal's causing a premature rebuilt. Change the oil and filter as soon as you can and change it again after 3,000 miles. Good luck and how did you get gas in your gas tank??
