I have a code on my truck 2000 Chevy. K3500 6.5l t.d the code is p0236 Turbo /super. Boost sensor. A ckt range/performance Do you know what this means and how to fix it?

my ford f- 350 is doing the same thing, OBDII is telling me its the Turbo Super Boost Sensor A . What the heck is that! I called Ford, they never heard of it!!!!

Anyone can help? Its a 7.3 Liter Diesel 1999 Model Ford F350 Super Duty.

po121 means that there is a problem with the throttle position sensor ( tps). or in the wiring or connector, most likely its the tps that is bad. first remove connection from tps, heres how to test. use an ohms meter and hook a lead to top or bottom terminal of tps. use other probe on center terminal of tps. move throttle plate slowly, if the needle on meter does not move at a smooth pace, then tps is bad. good-luck!!

SOURCE: I have a 99 dodge 3500. After about 10 miles of

P0236 - map sensor too high too long.The problem detecting in turbo charger waste gate. Replace the map sensor as per the code.But it can be also possible that,edge does any boost fooling it could be acting up and causing this problem. Before replacing map sensor,unhook the complete head and see if the problem is there.If there is problem then replace map sensor.If the problem goes away then get the EDGE checked.-------------------- The reason you need the waver for the hot unlock is, it can burn holes in pistons if there is not enough air. Edge does not recommend daily driving in levels higher than 3 due to the frailness of our injectors, and the increased rail pressure in higher levels. ------------ EDGE boost fool have 6 levels as follows:----- Basically Lvl 1(mileage)= Boost fooler with manipulation of the waste gate. Lvl 2=(towing)advance the timing on top of lvl 1. Lvl 3 (drive)= add added duration. Lvl 4 (race)= added rail pressure to help things out. Lvl 5(extreme)=everything just being pushed. Lvl 6 (hot unlock)= elimination of the pre ignition pulse of the injectors in favor of more timing and longer duration on top of massive rail pressure and boost fooling with no ceiling.---------------- There is a plug that runs right into your MAP sensor that does the boost fooling through the box.The EDGE alters the signal to the ecm from the MAP sensor so that the ecm sends more fuel to the injectors. ------------ The Edge Juice does boost fooling. But what a boost fooler does is trick the ECm from opening the waste gate until the fooler tells it to. Stock is 34 and it lets it run up to 42 for better performance. Keeps it from throwing an over boost code also.---------- So get the EDGE and map sensor checked.First unhook the head and see if there is problem,if there is map sensor has to be replaced.If problem gone then EDGE has to be checked.

P0236 = Possible causes are

1. Boost pressure sensor harness is open or shorted
2. Boost pressure sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Acura code P0240 - Turbo / super charger boost sensor (B) circuit range performances.

It's is best to take it to a certified repair shop, where they can get actual reading's from your Turbo sensor's.
You don't want to drive it that way it will damage your Turbo and there very $$$..

    2005 Neon engine light came on and stays on. Car drives okay. Has around 34,000 miles. No other problems


    Take it to Autozone or Advanced auto and get an engine diagnostic and ask them to printout the results. Most times it's a sensor.

    ODB II Code P0236 & P0237 on a 2001 Volvo V40. What do I need to fix?


    P0236 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit ange/Performance and P0237 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low. I would check to ensure your Sensor is didnt come unplugged and if not I would replace the Boost Sensor. Thanks for Using FixYa!

    hi what was the code (p 0244)sounds like you need to replace the the turbo wastegate valve .sounds to me like its overboosting as if the charge from the turbo gets too hot the engine will misfire thus causing damage to engine ,the waste gate valve is there to prevent over pressurisation
