Will the warranty of my 05 Hyundai Elantra (currently 67000 miles) be affected if I take it to Firestone for maint repairs?

As long as its a vat rated garage that uses genuine parts (inc filters) and stamps your service book, in european law NO.....but as i worked for hyundai it may effect any"goodwill "warranty work.

A 2010 Elantra?... it's still under warranty. Take it in to the Hyundai Service Dept and have it diagnosed & repaired under warranty.

it should be covered by your warranty but if its not dont be surprised if you pay 1000 or more

Not many engines are repaired internally anymore. They are replaced and it is usually very expensive. Regular maint. will keep these vehicles running for a long time. Poor maint. will cost lots of money as the miles pile up. Looks like your Hyundai went quite a few miles before it required an engine.

Exhaust noise coming from engine compartment. Repair shop says the 'flex pipe' is cracked and wants $319 to replace it. I cannot find a flex pipe online to compare replacement part price. Is it still under...

well the flex pipe is a good price at $319 because it will bolt on, if you get a universal one your gonna have to get it welded and what a pain it is,,,,the 10,100,000 mile warranty only cover like nothing,so this is not covered sorry Hyundai is strict with the warranty only major internal engine or trans repair does it cover,,i would just pay the $319,,,thats cheap for this repair

Who did you buy your extended warranty through?... It may or may NOT be covered -- depends on your extended warranty agreement.

Maintainance list for 2004 Scion TC with 67000 miles

at 67000 just an oil change and tire rotation are done, the majors are 15k 30 k.......every 15k miles. Not a major is done at 67000.
