How do you get to the fuel pump in a 2003 pontiac grand am 6 cylinder? where is the relay?

Hello there:
you may have an access panel under the rear sat remove the bench part of the seat and look for some screws holding a panel down remove these screws and panel you should see the top of the fuel pump if not then you will need to remove the gas tank to get to the tank to replace the pump hope this helps you out sincerely D.Jones

No fuel pressure, on 2003 Grand Am could it be anything becides the fuel pump?


I would check the fuel relay and or fuse and if there are good replace the pump.

the fuel pump fuse is located in the under hood fuse box ( small fuse relay box located next to battery ) yellow 20 amp.

Mycar wont start ichanged the fuelpump fuse and it keeps blowing its a 2003 pontiac grandam it turns over just wont start


REMOVE FUEL PUMP RELAY.REPLACE FUSE IF STILL BLOWS SHORT IN PCM TO IGNITION CIRCUIT.IF FUSE DONT BLOW I AM LOOKING AT A BAD FUEL PUMP RELAY OR FAULTY FUEL PUMP.

Where is the fuse for the fuel pump located?


its located under the hood in the fuse/relay box, remove cover, under cover on the back is a diagram of which fuses are were, you will see the fp/inject fuse thats for the fuel pump and injectors and there is also a pump relay in there as well, hope this helps
this fuse box is on the driverside next to master cylinder under the hood.

Where is the fuel pump relay switch located?


There should be a black box in the engine compartment on the driver side which houses all of the relays. Let me know if you have any further questions on this.

Car stalled on highway no hum of fuel pump engaging relay or pump???


I WOULD CHECK THE FUEL PUMP RELAY UNDER THE HOOD BEFORE THROWING A PUMP IN IT!
