How do i reset the check engine light on my 06 pacifica

take that nice vehicle to autozone and they will read your codes free ..sounds like a sensor that is faulty

go to your local auto parts store ...have them to read your vehicle free ,,they are always on the money with the part you need ,,preferably autozone

for now you must try to charge the old battery see the diagram attached.
2) Run the scanner/computer for easy diagnostic and fix it. You have some problem with PCM or BCM+sensor, ignition coil,distributor etc see the diagram attached.

Check engine light comes on and off, these are indication that there is some error code stored in your vehicles ECM. The engine module computer needs to be scanned. These will give the code and as per the error code the further problem can be detected and confirmed. The engine light indicator blinks or remains steady on dash when engine computer noticed any problem with any engine electrically operated components.

Disconnect the battery negative cable for 5 minutes.

2007 Chrysler Pacifica having intermittent fuel gauge problems. Goes from normal to dead/ low fuel. Has full tank. Also, check engine light is on

If the light isn't flashing, it is safe to drive. If it is flashing, then catalytic converter damage can result. Have a parts store check the codes for you and come back and post the code.
