Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix
Need help to drain fule tank in grand prix .was useing kit to drain but no gas is comeing out. started to go out on floor. tired to drop tank but no luck .need to put in new one can you HELP
I had luck by removing the fuel filter under the car (located on the drivers side midway of the car) I needed to do this and when i unplugged the filter, gas started coming out, i started to put a cup but the cup started to get full so i just plugged up the line instead. This is just a thought, it might be dangerous, ( i dont know) but i would remove the fuel filter and connect the gas line to a tank or bottle or something, maybe run an extension away from the car and start to crank the car, forcing the fuel to leave the tank, that's just me thou. YOU DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO, dont hold me responsible.
