2000 kia sephia looses power when going up a hill

    it does not die but acts like it wants too. It will also shake real bad and different speeds. what can this be?

My 2000 sephia doesn'l start when outside temps get down around 0-10 degrees overnight. it starts fine any other time.


i have the same problem have yu tried jumping it? always works for me :) or pushing it down a hill if its a stick shift and popping the clutch... but seems like lots of ppl have this problem as well!

SOUND LIKE ALTERNATOR NOT CHARGING.CHECK FOR A LOOSE DRIVE BELT.IF DRIVE BELT GOOD AND ALTERNATOR FUSE GOOD AND WIRES NOT LOOSE AND DAMAGED PROBLEM IS FAULTY ALTERNATOR.

My 2000 kia sephia won't go above 30 miles an hour and when it gets to that speed it starts to shake a little


check your o2 sensor and air filter also might want to check timing and cam sensors sounds like no power somethings not breathing or being feed fuel or power good luck

ok its a thought off my head that i can think of right off
the brake on drivers side is binding and the squiller pin i call it is rubbing on rotor you probably need a brake inspection there free at brake masters
