Question about Mitsubishi Galant
First I would listen to hear if there is any
noise in the passenger rear door when you try and move the window. If
so, you have a bad window regulator, they go bad all the time on these.
Next, I would remove your door panel and disconnect the 2-pin connector to the window motor. Place a test light between the two pins on the harness and attempt to roll the window up and down from another switch. If the light lights up both ways, then you have a bad window regulator. If it only lights up one or none of the ways, you either have a bad switch or wiring.
Check the wiring harness in the door jam and check for broken wires, it is a relatively common problem on these Jeeps.
