There is not a fuel cut off switch on your vehicle, only a relay and a fuse.

97 monte carlo, 3.1, turns over but won't start. Actually changed out starter, then battery. At some point ThefLoc light came on and digital reading says "LOC". Could this be an alarm...

I have a 1996 monte carlo in my shop, and the costomer lose the key with the chip ,the dealership has to cut and reprogram a key. the alarm can not be bypassed. the LOC you see is for the radio, and you need a code to unlook it.Did you change the starter and battery because it would not start. if a car cranks but not start that is not a start or battery. there is 3 things a car needs to start gas ,air and spark. do you know if you have any of them

My 97 monte carlo will turn over but there isn't any power to fuel pump I know it works and I've changed all the fuses and relays and also got the key checked.... I don't get it also checked...

The ECM BAT fuse powers the fuel pump through the relay. If the gray wire has power and the black wire has ground, and the fuel pump does not operate, its bad.

I need to know where my fuel cut off switch is loacted in my 1999 monte carlo

There should be a relay box under the hood. Right (passenger) side by the radiator support where it meets the fender. There will be a fuel pump relay in there.

There is also a relay switch that goes bad on these too. Under the hood i think near the left side toward the fire wall there are three one for the horn one for the fuel and one for ac

Where is the fuel pump reset switch located on a 97 monte carlo

Just check your fuses, i never heard of a pump reset switch on a 97 monte carlo,I know ford vehicles carry them (inertia switch). U have to check fuses & fuel pump relay or just a bad fuel pump is common on chevy vehicles.
