Question about Nissan Sentra
There is a reset procedure to stop this indicator light. But in some cases if its the sensor problem then this reset procedure will not work.
The procedure is as follows:--
1) First insert the key in ignition module and then turn the key to the ON POSITION.
2) Don't start the car.Just turn the key towards the On position.
3) Then beginning with the front left tire let a small amount of air out from the tire until the horn honks.
4) In the same way do it for other three tires front right next, rear left and then rear right.
5) Do this quickly or the ECU will reset and you need to start over.
6) Then turn the car off then turn it ON and check out.
But if this procedure is not helping then , this indicator light for low tire can be turned off by the Consult III scan tool.
You should not have to reset the light if you have enough air pressure in the tires. If the tires have been changed and the tire pressure sensors were not put on the new wheels the low tire pressure light will be on. If the tires have been changed and the sensors were damaged that would make the light come on too. If you do not care and you have changed the wheels and not moved the sensors to the new wheels the dealer can turn off the low tire function with the Consult III scan tool.
Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
