We had problems with our '96 Grand Cherokee A/C as well. Check the fan speed resistors, there is a set of wires from the fan motor that plugs into the firewall, there should be 2 screws that hold this module in the fire wall. Once you've pulled these screws the module should come right out. You should find 2-4 coils of wire, these are high wattage resistors. You can test these with an Ohm meter or a continuity checker will let you check to see if there burned out. If you don't have continuity change these. You can get them at any auto parts store.
If you've had a wet floor on the passenger side after running the A/C this is probably the problem. Leaf and seed debris gets down into the vents, the fan chops it up and it ends up settling down at the drain and plugging it. The manual says you have to tear the whole system apart, this is not necessarily true. You can get a repair kit from your dealer that may fix the problem. The kit comes with basic instructions but you'll need to pull the carpet part way back to do this. You'll need a small parts grabber to pull the debris out of the system.
I can't be sure but your second problem may not be the sensor. Here's a few possibilities;
Check for damage or oil soaked plugs or wires.
It could also be a bad or missing thermostat, this could cause the computer to think the sensor is bad since it doesn't reach temp.
It's possible that you got a bad second sensor or if you had a shop do it, they may not have actually changed the sensor.
If you have a damaged or partially plugged radiator this could also cause your problem.
Given that you're showing more than one unsolved problems, it may be the computer itself or a bad dash circuit board.
I hope this helped, good luck.

Can blower motor, cig. lighter, fan cooling motor, door locks all be tied into the blower motor relay faulting out?

Sounds more like a key switch or fuse box problem.
The circuits you mentioned would be on separate fuses but could be connected to the key switch. The relays are grounded by the engine computer to be energized.

Fan blower fuse

you have a wire grounding out somewhere. check the wires that lay near or around the manifolds as they can melt the sheathing and then when the wire touches it or other metal it shorts out the circut

Air condition not blowing

not cold? may need recharged. fan not working? check fuse, check with a test lite at the blower motor connector to see if ther is power with the key on and blower on high, if you have power and no fan, blower is bad. if no power switch and wiring will need to be checked and you should probably take it in somewhere

1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee After disconecting the battery for recharging and reconnecting the battery the blower motor runs continuously. Went through the ATC diagnostics illustrated in the Haynes man. and...

Switch ,relay resistors or motor is shorted to ground.
Start with the switch and remove each one until it stops . test the item and it will probably be the culprit. Now remember most vehicles while running will have blower motor run at a low speed all the time.
The only time this should not happen is when the ignition is off.

No high speed on fan for heat and air

Replace your high speed cooling fan relay with a known working relay (rear window defrost for instance) and see if the fans turn on while the air is on high. If so, you need a new relay. You can also look into the fuse that protects the relay circut.

Fan wont come on the ac

it sounds to me like if the fuses are good then the resistor is burned out for the blower motor. it is usualy mounted near the blower motor and aprox. $25-$50. hope this helps and it is a cheaper fix than replacing the fan first. the resistor is the weakest portion of the blower motor electrical circut.
