Question about 2001 Mitsubishi Galant
Our 2001 Mitsubishi will not start. Could it be the fuel filter?
The fuel filter is possible but not probable. Questions to ask yourself: Was the car running of before failure (meaning was it running ok until you went to start it the next day?) If it died overnight or after parking it for a few hours I'd say no not the filter. Does it have spark? If yes then ok, if not probably a sensor (crank sensor / cam sensor failed) Does it get fuel? Crank it over for five seconds or so and check to see if plugs are wet. If no it may be a sensor or failed fuel pump or fuel pump relay.
Please let me know what you find.
