If it is just water, and not antifreeze, then it is normal for this time of year-Especially if it is coming from the bottom of the passengers side firewall. There is a drain located there for the condensation produced by the Air Conditioner.

1998 ford expedtion running hot and will not hold antifreeze

A number of things. Check the hoses for cracks or leaks especially around thermostat housing. Look for green coloring. Also check radiator by looking underneath engine. Best way to check is by running the SUV. Make sure you put water in radiator and secure cap to pressurize the system. One other place to look for leaks is the overflow tank.

2001 ford expedtion liftgate window wont lock

The door has contacts I think that provide power to the lock motor, find then and clean them, if the model doesn't have any contact pads then check for a damaged wiring harness into the rear door, if that is ok replace the lock actuator inside the rear door.

You need to have a pressure chek done on the engine cooling system. this will tell you if you have any leaks. some that you can't see. this is the main reason for loosing heat constantly.

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like you have 2 problems First the water on the passeger side, it:"s most like luy a clogged drain for the A/C evaporator under the dash board, Check the drain hose on the firewal, just opposite the glove box, also if you can look under the dash on the pass. side and check the drain hose on the evaporatror. 2nd problem sounds like a bad heater core. Have your local shop check both these items for you

The downside is of course, no heat, or warm air to defrost/defog windshield. Changing a heater core is generally a labor intensive job. If you decide to do it yourself, invest in a good manual, or online source so you know how to get it out in step by step process. I would suggest checking alldata diy site, which cost is in the upper $20 range for 1 yr access to your vehicles repair info. You can print up any sections you want to bring outside to work on the vehicle. Good luck.

Water in passenger footwell of ford mondeo zetec 2001.

I had the same problem. Take note of black plastic trim piece that runs along the bottom of the windshield. On the passenger side there is a pan type attachment to this piece of trim; it can become detached from the trim. In this case it needs to be positioned under the lower lip of the windshield.
