Bright lights arent not working, all my other lights work, and low headlamps are working but when i switch to my brights, the headlights turn off. is this a fuse? or could it be the bulbs? let me know people,,,,, thanks

The headlights of your Chevrolet Uplander could be on. If the lights are out you may have had a headlight bulb fail. The headlights are located on either side of your licence plate and usually have a bright light on them indicating which side is forward.

If you can verify current going out of the main dash switch towards the headlamps, then I would go relay hunting. My guess is the switch, since the brights and fog lamps work on demand (dimmer switch pulled).

If you are 100% sure the lights are ok, it's going to either be the headlamp relay or the high/low switch. I'd swap a bulb for a new one before moving on to more troubleshooting.

either the bright dim switch or the headlamp switch is bad .dimmer switch is the easiest to check with a test light or volt meter

go here. we can help you. Also, did you check the headlamp relay in the box under the hood? One relay is in box in front of battery, other is in narrow box along passenger side fender under the hood. swap left & rt headlamp relays to see if it changes.

Recheck the bulb number. This happens when the wrong bulb number is installed. Otherwise it could be a bad headlight ground.

could be the switch. did you do anything to the switch when you changedheadlamps? maybe you put the lamp in incorrectly also did the brights work on the lamp that was "burned out"?

I have a 2000 Buick Century and if you hold the switch the brights will work but the low beams will not work not a bulb issue. The turn signals will work but still no head lights

i would try replacing headlight switch....
