What causes jumping and humming? 49,000 miles and not the transmission fluid or spark plugs. Please help!

run the fault codes and check for misfiring from injector problems
the humming noise could be from the tread of the tires in use and may be overcome by increasing the tire pressure by 5 psi
at 49.000miles Is the vehicle still under warranty and if it is take it to a service dealer and have a record made of the complaint
Just because a warranty period runs out doesn't mean that any fault recorded in the warranty period will not be fixed by the company after the warranty period expires

Faulty Reading? Brake Fluid Level, ABS and tracking system warning light

If your hub (wheel bearing) is starting to go bad, the sensor can fault as well for the ABS (stabilitrack, etc) as it is all inside the hub assembly. Whatever the issue, once it is resolved, the light will go out. A scan should tell you which wheel is throwing you the code.
The instrument cluster can be taken out pretty easily (2 trim screws and 4 on cluster itself I think) and the bulbs are easy to put out and replace. My cluster was replaced under warranty for 1 burnt out bulb and got a reman that crapped out after a year now out of warranty.

My 1995 Buick Lesabre has a low humming noise. It started right after I got my oil changed. It sounds just like the noise a car makes when you don't have any power steering fluid in your car and...

I would go back to the oil change place. Fluid levels are their responsibility and you should have a trail of fluid from the leak. If you had no problems before the oil change and immediately after you have problems, then they are the people to talk to.

There are some basic systems that are to be checked when doing an oil change. Power steering fluid, washer fluid, and auto trans fluid are normal items the shops keep on hand to put in cars.

Now cars with rear differentials and standard transmissions are checked on request. Your problem is something that should normally be checked by a shop doing an oil change.

Some of the better shops grease the fittings, check the belts, spray the battery connections and check the Antifreeze.

If the Power steering was out of fluid, the pump may be damaged. There are also different fluids to use for each car company.

Please rate my info.

My 2005 Equinox, 53,000 miles, makes a groaning noise shortly after putting it into gear. It happens as the car begins to move and goes about 10 feet. Sometimes it happens when I put it in Drive and ...

My 2 have always made that noise, I'm guessing it has something to do with the ABS charging in preparation for potential use. after a combined total of 240k miles, there has been no noted detrimental effect to this "charging" sound.
Great car.

Can I drive my car home ( 50 miles) with the brake warning light on?

You sure can, but you might be chancing creating a life threatening situation. That light will go on when the level of the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir gets low, as it does eventually even on normal cars. Check the level of the brake fluid. It is probably low, so got some more fluid from Checkers, Auto Zone, or whoever, and fill it to the 'full' level. The light probably will go out. If it loses more fluid on a frequent basis you have a leak somewhere and have to take it to a competent shop and have them find it.
Best of luck!

Driving down the road and my ABS warning light came on

check brake fluid level, brakes, if these are okay you may have a problem with the module.
this light can be caused by low levels in the brake resovoir fluid level and/or brake pads are thin.
