Condensation under dash when you use the air conditioning

heater core and evaporator drain tube under the dash stopped up. go underneath the vechicle firewall under hood area. go around heater cores coolant hoses some where below that area you should have a drain tube opening, take a shop vac tape small hoses like vacuum line 3/8 inside diameter vacuum out debris in ac drain tube that should help inside leak problem.

2002 Pt Cruiser. Drips coming in from under glove box and drivers side above gas peddle. Could this be Air conditioning Screen clog? If so, how do I fix? If not, is it heater core? How do I fix? thank...

You did't mention if the drips are coolant or water. If it is coolant and you need a new heater core, It is a major job to remove the dash and replace it. If you feel comfortable doing this, I would get either a Chrysler shop manual for that year PT, Or find a Chilton manual on line. Follow all instructions to the letter, because there are steps in the removal procces that you would'nt you don't want to miss. good luck. If it's just water, you probably have a plugged drain tube in your heater box. Find where it drains through the firewall, and blow it out.

I have an 1999 chrysler 300m an it has an overheating problem. There is also water all over the driver side floor (front n back) it is soaked. It takes about 25mins b4 it starts smoking. Can som1 plz help...

Typically if your leaking coolant inside the car, it indicates your heater core is split and leaking. Replacing the heater core is quite the job. It requires removal of the dash board and heater box. i replaced one in a 97 Cirrus at work last week and it was a 6 hour job. If your not mechanically inclined i would definitley recomend phoneing around for quotes to local auto repair shops and getting it done profesionally.

Hey I have what looks like to be radiator fluid coming out of my heater floor vents but i am not sure if it is that or Freon? Any idea what could be wrong?

If it is cool clear water and does not smell like coolant then it is the drain tube plugged up for the AC evaporater/core codensation, and it drains out towards the bottom of the passenger side fire-wall and the drain tube is easily visible from under the vehicle.

It is a normal condition for the AC to produce condensation if the AC is functioning properly.

If it is warm or hot coolant, and it smells like coolant, then the heater core is leaking, and the cooling system should be getting low, and the engine should be running hot.

Coolant is leaking into the passenger side of car interior 1997 DeVille happens when AC is turned on,it is not overheating it is not leaking from anywhere visible under the hood

i bet it is your heater coil located under the dash of the car. when it gets cold if its not fixed it will fog up your windows.
