Question about 1997 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Had to recharge the battery now when i try to turn on the radio it is asking for a code, I never had to use the code and I bought the car at an aution about 3 years ago so I dont have a owners manuel.

That is a theft deterrent on most new vehicles. Whenever you unhook the battery or the power goes away, you need to find the code. Look in your service manual and if you can't find it in there then I suggest you go to your local Mercedes dealer and have them help you. I had to do that with a vehicle I had in the past and the dealer got it in less then 5 minutes and didn't charge me a dime.
