Take off the air cleaner housing. Throttle body is attached to the intake plennum. Spray down with throttle cleaner. DO NOT use silicone lubricants on the throttle as these are deadly on O2 sensors.

I had the same problem. You should clean out your throttle body. You can prob do it yourself in 20 minutes or less. My 04 grand prix starts up everytime now.

i would say professionally that youre due for service. replace all filters and spark plugs(replace with ac delco spark plugs only or you WILL trigger a check engine light for random misfire and it will still be running good).
