Open the trunk, pull back the carpet on the rear wall of the trunk behind the tail lights. If there is access to the bulb sockets, figure out which one lines up with the turn signal and turn it counter clockwise about a quarter turn then pull it out. the bulb will either pull straight out or turn quarter turn and pull out.

If there isn't access to the bulb sockets then there will be three or four nuts or wing nuts that hold the tail lamp assembly in. Remove them and the lens. Then remove the bulb from the tail lamp lens assembly.

Sounds like a short in either the front or rear bulb, or a bad socket or even possibly a bulb installed backwards. Has anything been changed in either of these locations?

Check your flashers, they control this bulb when turn signal is activated. This is the simplest fix.

Turn signals

Hello I hope I can help with your turnsignals,Your replacement bulb should be number#3057 1.Raise the tailgate.2.Look on the sides where the tail-light is you should see two push in type bolts(fasteners)remove these by prying under the fastener with a large flat srewdriver, they will come out.3.Once those are removed, carefully pull out the whole tail-light lense. On the back you'll see two bulb socket's with tab's on them.Squeeze the tab's and carefully remove the socket, now remove the old bulb then carefully push in the new one.Hope this will take care of your problem be safe and happy out there.
