I would ask you to have your computer scanned for codes, this would tell you what is wrong, but possibly this may not be possible for you to do. Your description leads me to believe that your problem is a bad crankshaft sensor. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

1995 honda del sol wont start trys but wont start, also cant get it out of park with shifter into drive its a automatic

Ok you have two problems that may or may not be related. Is the battery good? Does it crank normally and not start, or is it not cranking over at all? You have to start with the basics here. Test the battery/starter/cables. If ok, Try it in neutral. If it starts in neutral the shifter cable may need adjusting. If it's cranking and not starting let me know, because that takes a different approach to diagnosis.

Turns over wont start

If it turns over but will not start then it is either fuel or spark missing. That is where to start looking. When the timing belt breaks a perfectly running vehicle, before, will just crank over and over without catching.

Have the starter or solenoid checked. It's possible to get second hand parts from a Salvage/Breakers yard. If you don't mind getting dirty and can use basic hand tool. You may want to invest in a Repair Manual: It can be very useful for a DIY'er .

My blazer trys to start but wont turn over and its not every time some times it will some times it wont. i had the fuel filter changed in it cause someone told me to try that but there is no differece.

by not turning over i`m guessing that you mean the engine won`t crank over,if you mean won`t start when the engine turns over then that is a different path of diagnosis.if you mean that it starts to turn crank over but stops almost immediately then this could be a weak battery,or bad starter with a bad spot in the starter, that`s why it will start sometimes and sometimes not as the starter hits and misses stopping on the bad spot.if you mean it cranks over fine but will not start then this could be a fuel pump going bad,a dirty throttle body,a bad crank of cam sensor, these usually set a code in the computer and sometimes turns on the check engine light sometimes should have the computer checked for codes to see if there is any,or just a wiring problem for the ignition system

Car wont start after over heating

Sometimes when the waterpump leaks it leaks onto the timing belt making it slippery the timing belt probably jumped a tooth, to check this purchase a compression tester unscrew a spark plugs and screw the tester into the spark plug hole, have an assistant turn the engine over for 5 seconds wright down the reading proceed to test all 4 cylinder the compression should be a minimum of 110 psi on all if one of the readings is 50 psi the timing belt must be replaced, either way you must perform a compression test to rule out a timing belt issue first.
