You have a problem with either the feed or the earth here and it should be easy to locate but to repair ?? firstly check for a feed to the motor and i think you will have one but the earth ,well thats another story because the switch and reostat control the earth so running a earth direct from the motor to ground will give you air but the cause of the problem could be the reostat or the switch and if its climatic controled computer it could be expensive .just mention merc or jag and the price of the spares go up accordingly ,even when its a common part with a ford or a GM (opel)Sorry i cannot give you a instant fixya answer but at least you will have air ,what i have done before now is to use one of them old type resistors and rewire the blower so it has full speed and half speed with a separate toggle switch ,yes it work and it didnt cost much ,the merc dealers wanted something like a 1000euros so the customer was happy with it

CUSTOMERS ARE BEING INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP TO ARRANGE AN APPOINTMENT IF THEY BELIEVE THEIR VEHICLE HAS THIS CONDITION. Replace spedometer cable 2003 gmc yukon xl

There is no speedometer cable on the 2003 Yukon, if there is no transmission issues like shifting problem. Your instrument cluster has gone bad, to pinpoint. Your stepper motor to your speedometer gauge has failed and needs to be replaced. You can do a search on Ebay for the stepper motor for around $10.00 which is better then the $400.00 cost of another instrument cluster.
There was a TSB on the replacement of the instrument cluster for your Yukon free of charge. The only cost to you is the labor charge unless your willing to do the job your self. Just go to the Gm Dealer and give them this TSB Number: # 07187C: Special Coverage Adjustment - Instrument Panel Cluster Gauge Needle Function - (Mar 20, 2009)
Subject:
