    this is easy what problem do u have, you will need a hydraulic floor jack to raise the truck up off the ground and a good set of hand tools, remember to ALWAYS USE SAFETY JACK STANDS!!!!

Hello there:
to remove the starter you will need to disconnect the positive battery cable crawl under the van look on passenger side of the transmission and you will see the starter you will have two connections on the solenoid you need to remove them and you should have two bolt holding the starter on the block remove those and slide starter out install in reverse...hope this helps you out a lot please leave a review sincerely D.Jones

Chevy ran a wire from the starter solonoid that powered the headlights. I have found te wire coroded and also there is a fusible link wire itis on the starter solonoid post from the battery>
