Hello, my name is Ben. This is a very easy repair for any do it your-selfer. There is a plastic triangle shaped piece on the inside of the door at the top of the door panel. Carefully pry it straight our using a small screwdriver or putty knife. Now you can just unbolt the old mirror and bolt in the new one. I hope this helps you with your repair.

I have a 02 Silverado and the driver side and passenger side door mirrors, when I push the button, won't move up or down. They do go side to side but that's it. They are non heated. Is there a fuse to fix...

I would suspect the buttons or controller.

Check the buttons by using a wiring diagram to see what wires are what, then measure resistance while pressing them to see if the circuit becomes active when they are pressed to see if they are good.

How do I replace the pass. side sideview mirror ***'y. (non power)? 2004 Grand-am 4 door

I just replaced a passenger side unpowered mirror on my 2001 S-10 pickup. It might be the same for your Grand Am. There are two screws that attach the mirror to the mirror base. Remove these two screws and the mirror can be removed from the base. I did all the work from the outside. The screws are "star" head screws on my S-10, so you will need the correct tool. The other problem is that I had to buy a complete mirror assembly because they don't sell just the mirror portion.
I went to a junkyard, they did not have a used mirror but had a new one at a much lower cost than a dealer's cost.

Heater only works on passenger side.

there is a motor actuator that moves these doors for hot and cold, two separate ones for either side. the motor unit for drivers side is no good and needs new one. replace this and all will be good.

Heated mirrors have a swtch in the car. That operates the eliment that is stuck to the glass. This eliment heats the mirror when turned on.It is used to defrost or demist the mirror.A none heated mirror has no wires going to it and no eliment at the back off the glass.OK.

Replacing burned out turn signal bulb in passenger side mirror.

I'm pretty sure the light is part of the glass. The mirror glass is available seperately. Check Ebay or tascafordparts.com for a discounted part. Or, car-part.com for used one. Page with * is lowest price.

here is 2003 Nav. I don't have 2004. May be similar. please give good rating if this help. Good luck

A/C and Heat Driver Side Intermittent Problem

You will need to replace your driver side temp actuator. It is most likely sticking or over travelling. It is located under the dash directly below the a/c control head. It is bolted to the a/c box upside down with two small bolts. Let me know if i can help more.
