Change studs front wheel 1993 honda accord

wheel studs are fairly easy to change.

Once you purchase the new replacements, it will be pretty obvious, but basically, you remove the tire and rim of your car, and carefully tap the old studs inward to remove them, then insert the new one, and usually you can use the lug nut to pull the new one into place, by carefully tightening it down.

Wondering if I could swap the tires of a 1996 Plymouth Neon and a 1994 Honda Accord LX. The rims on both are stock; the Honda has 14" X 5" rims and the Neon has 14" X 6" rims. Tire sizes on the Honda are...

This is not an ideal swap. You should stay within 3% of the original diameter of the OEM tire. As you can see this if off 4.06%. The rim width is ok. Your speedometer will be off and you will get less mileage as your engine will be turning more RPMs. Conversion Curtorsey

Flashing Green Light on 1991 Accord DX

usually the problem is the TCM or transmission control module. They are known to go bad. If transmission is working ok then this is most likely the problem.

Pulling an alternator

Removing the rear-mounted alternator on early 1990s Civics and CRX can be frustrating. After removing the upper adjusting bracket bolt and the lower pivot bolt, the alternator can *almost* come out the top and almost fits behind the intake manifold.

The only easy exit path is out the left wheel well. Side access requires removing the wheel and unfastening three of the plastic retainers holding the upper end of the splash guard. But even this doesn't provide quite enough room. You need to tuck the alternator back under the intake, unbolt the lower alternator bracket (two bolts, 14mm socket) before the alternator can be removed.

The tools needed:

10mm socket -- alternator power connection, battery terminal
12mm wrench -- adjusting bracket
14mm socket -- adjusting bracket, pivot bolt, alternator bracket
