Hi I own a peugeot 206 gti 180. It has recently aquired a knocking noise when driving over potholes and speed bumps coming from the nearside front wheel. I have replaced the drop link, cv joint,srtut bearing,pads and now the wishbone and yet the knocking is still there. Any help would be much appreciated. Glynn

Check the drop link and sway bar (anti roll bar) bushes also the knock could be in the strut top or the strut itself, maybe disconnect the drop link to the sway bar and drive over a pothole and see if the knock is still there.

Here is an idea, go to google.com and do a search. If no success then go to ebay.com and do a search for the manual. If no success go to the Peugeot company website and click around under downloads, customer service, etc. Did you try any of that first?

use only wynns/redexe fuel additives to clean fuel system/injectors.please do not use a.n.other so called power enhancers.......

I have a peugeot 206 gti the clutch has gone but the car wont start now i was told it had a safety thing on it to stop it starting until its fixed is this right and how can i over ride it?

i have been fixing peugeots for 12 years and never heard anything like that.
it is mrer then likley a faulty crank position sensor, coil pack or quite simply the fuel cut off switch needs resetting which should be located under the bonnet on the n/s (black unit with a red rubber top) just press the top and try starting the car..
