It is most likely the heater core is leaking.
If it's coolant and not just straight water, then it's the heater core (located in the large plastic housing on the passenger side).
If it's just plain water and doesn't look like the coolant in the motor, it could be condensing water from using the a/c (a/c units can build up a bit of ice on the outside of the pipes and it will melt after the car is shut off) If this is the case, make sure your drain hose from the plastic housing is clear and draining properly.

Water leak drivers side

If it happens when you run the A/C It could be that your A/C drain is clogged and draining to the inside of the car. If it happens while running the heat your heater core could be leaking, but that's usually on the passenger's side and you could smell the antifreeze inside the car, unless you have water in the radiator instead. Other than that inspect your door and windshield seals.

resealing the windshield should solve the problem i like to recommend safe lite auto. if there is no sweet smell in the car then it is the windshield. if it is sweet smell this would be a heater core.thanks for your question!

Water leaking onto passenger side floorboard, soaking the carpet

Your heater core has developed a leak - the wetness on the passenger side carpet is engine coolant
from a heater core leak, or a leak in one of the two hoses connected to the back of the heater core.
Your strategy: disassemble dash down to heater core, determine whether you'll need a new heater
core or new hose (or new hose clamp), then replace the offending part.

What are things that could be wrong if the car is not holding water and its leaking on the inside of the car and the heater core is already disconnected

The only other location water forms inside the car is the AC condenser. If the drain tube for that is blocked and your running the AC water will leak on the passenger side front of the carpet.

Check your rear door seals. Sometimes the get pinched when door is shut and water leaks through or under seal. Take it to a self serve car wash and pressure wash corner in question.

Seat Alhambra 1996 1.9L water leak drivers footwell

the water can travel along surfaces or beams in the car so you cannot tell where it is actually leaking. in my ford windstar water leaked in right over the fuse box. it ran along a cross beam from the passenger side. if it has those plastic strips they use to go in between small gaps in the metal... like along the roof where the roof is and the metal of the sides joins it is likely they are leaking. best to take a garden hose and have someone inside the car with a flashlight on the floor looking for leaks

Interior Carpet Getting Wet

It sounds like a plugged drain line from the air conditioner. Most cars now run in the a/c mode whenever u turn on the climate control (even when heat is on). The passenger side front is where it would be wet, and the carpet and carpet pad act like a sponge and will soak up the water. Let me know how u make out.

There is a water leak somewhere in my 98 toyota camry that leaks into my passenger side floor. There is no sun roof and no visible leaks from the windows or doors. Any thoughts? A/C leak maybe? water...

I am the original owner of camry xle 1998 with wet floors. In 2000 I had drivers side door seal leaking at welt. Removed old door seal and new weather strip on drivers side installed. The door panel was never wet, but wet at bottom of door where there are drain holes...slowly leaking under carpet.
In 2001 later water again. Coming from overflowing A/C evaporator-drain plugged/ tank full of debris. Removed evaporator, cleaned + drain cleaned.
In 2003, driver door seal against window rotted. Removed door panel and found leak at window belt molding at the mirror joint inside + out. Lots of mold under carpet needed to replace! Made a fuss at dealers for reacurring problem and they replaced the carpet for free.
