If when you try to accelerate, it seems to run more rough, it could be the spark plug wires.
After time, these break down and allow spark to jump to nearby metal instead of delivering the spark to the plug.

I would recommend a complete tune-up with spark plugs, spark plug cables (including the coil lead).
Let me know how it goes!

This could be a fuel problem, or more exactly a carburetor problem. Check your accelerator pump by looking into the carburetor while you move the accelerator cable (engine doesn't have to be running). You should see gas spurt into the intake. If that isn't the problem, then check the spark at idle, you can use an in line spark checker or the more traditional method. Bump up the accelerator, if the spark goes away or become erratic, then the problem is most likely you ECM. The 1982 ford 302 ECM is a two stage unit, it has a low speed and high speed loop. When my unit went out, only the high speed was effected. The truck idle fine, and if you could get it up to speed it would cruise, if my rpm was below a certain level. I replaced the unit for $20.00 at a local parts store and have had no problems since. How ever if you are not having difficulty getting up to speed, the problem is most likely with your accelerator pump. Another possibility could be the distributor, pull your cap and see how much side to side play you have in the shaft, it will have a little, and unless the play is really bad won't cause any major problems.

Toyota hiace 1982 18R motor not starting when cold

Sounds like the automatic choke is not functioning properly. Take off the air cleaner before starting on a cold day. Looking into the carburetor, the round choke plate should be nearly closed. If not, check the linkage to see if it is disconnected or hanging up on something. If it is OK, look down the carburetor with the chock plate held open, operate the throttle linkage and see it it shoots a stream of raw gas down the carburetor. If not, the accelerator pump will need to be replaced. That stream of gas aids in starting when cold and in acceleration (as opposed to a gas in mist form that it idles and runs on). An accelerator pump is included in a Carburetor kit and usually looks like a round flat rubber diaphragm.

Car randomly accelerates without pushing down on pedal and cruise control is not working

It sounds to me like a problem with cruise control? Turn it off and/or unhook it, drive it a bit and see if accelerating problem goes away? If it does, you need to troubleshoot the cruise control. Any applicable trouble codes?
That sounds dangerous to me, I'd disable the cruise control till you find the problem.
I don't know what testing you have done?

Cruise control just quit working on my 2011 hyandai sonata

there will be a cable from the cruise control that moves when the cruise controls the car. This cable is usually paralleled to the cable that the accelerator pedal moves. At the throttle control of the engine you will find these wire cables. If the cruise control cable is not oiled it can seize in the cable sleeve which might affect the accelerator pedal also.
