Question about 2000 Ford Windstar
You most likely have a bad intermittent wiper module. I believe it is above the drivers foot well and is velcro'd or zip tied to a bracket. If I remember correctly it runs about $60 from the dealer.

There is a fault with Wiper stalk have got same prob with my 2006 ram 1500 5.7l hemi they should change under warrenty are with mine

i belive that your wiper switch has gone out on the intermittent side. this is a very common problem.

Either the wiper switch or the wiper motor. The wiper switch is basically a variable resistor. Those can go bad with repeated use. Usually when the motor goes bad, you'll start to see the wipers pause at the top or bottom of their cycle.
