Question about 2000 Chevrolet Silverado
I'm thing of a place for you to start looking. On the far left side of your dash is your light switch just to the right of it is your dash light switch it's a little wheel roll it up and see if your dash lights come on.
If not you have a fuse box on the left side of you dash you can only see it with the door open. Remove cover on the inside of the cover it will tell you what fuse is for what. fuse may say illum 10A .
Also your parking brake must be fully released or your auto lights will not work. You also have a fuse box under the hood on the left behind the battery. You will find part of your fuse lights there. I have had a lot of problems with my 2001 Chevy 2500HD in the wiring. Runs good just bad wiring.
