Turbo not working on peogeot 407 2l diesel hdi 16v 2007 sport car

Check egr valve system, check turbo boost solenoid, is it hot ? It should be war but not hot. Check turbo waste gate. Remove the black assy that hold the butterfly valves inside that the turbo air hoses connect onto to and make sure they work by sucking on the tubes to activate them, they are sring opened or closed and the engine vacuum system opens or closes them.

Cam belt re-fitting for skoda 2l diesel

No problem here its the smae as a VW engine ,now iam not sure if this is a common rail type or a injector pump ,All these engines have a 8mm hole in the spoke flange of the camshaft and pump timing wheel ,common rail may not have one though .Look for the TDC mark on the flywheel through a elongated slot then with the cam gear locked in with a old drill bit through the hole into the hole in the head and away you go ,now if this engine doesnt have any holes then look on the cam shaft for a slot on the back and this is horizontal ,A quick check is is too look at the inlet valve on NO1 and it should point up to the left and the exhaust up and to the right then look for the locating hole if fitted or a slot on the back of the cam ,WHATEVER YOU DO CRANK ENGINE SLOWLY WITH A RACHET , to make sure valves clear slightest resistance STOP .Didnt you paint the gears before you took it off? if the belt has broke then sure as **** eggs you will have at least 6 valves bent .Will be the same as a seat as well this car .Haynes amnuals are not worth the money i have found useless thngs

Hi I have broken a drive belt on my Subaru Lancaster 3 litre (year 2000} I have the new belt but cannot see how to remove the engine cowling so as to relace the belt and make necessary adjustments. It...

You may need more than a belt replacement; the link below will show the characteristics of Subaru engines and the H-6 is listed as an 'interference' engine, meaning that when the timing belt breaks, it is possible for the pistons and valves to collide which can result in bent or broken valve stems and/or damaged pistons. In this case, it is wise to have a pro examine the engine and replace the belt.
It is also possible to damage this engine by improperly installing the new timing belt.
Some of the details may be at odds with your specific model but the mention of this engine being an interference engine is enough to give one pause-

Volvo 1998 v70 tdi loss of power and a lot of black smoke lamda fuel light has been on since timming belts replaced been told its the turbo pump runnig at half is this possible and where is the turbo pump...

I don't know about the turbo running at half, but I can give you two ideas.

If it only started after the timing belt was replaced there is a very good chance that the timing is off. The car has very specific instructions due to the variable valve timing.

There is also a chance that there is a hole in one of the turbo hoses. One way to check for a leaking turbo hose is to put the car in reverse and set the parking brake. have someone listen for a large air leak while you power stall the engine. if there is a leak it will make a lot of noise and you can feel for it with your hand, just don't burn yourself.

DO NOT POWERSTALL THE ENGINE MORE THAT THIRTY SECONDS AT A TIME AND NO MORE THAN TWICE. IT WILL GET VERY HOT VERY QUICKLY.

DO NOT SHUT OFF THE ENGINE RIGHT AFTER POWERSTALLING. THERE IS TO MUCH HEAT AND COULD CAUSE DAMAGE. LET THE ENGINE IDLE FOR THREE MINUTES AND IT WILL BE FINE.

I hope this helps

1993 mitsubishi pajero exceed-intercooler turbo 2800 diesel engine 4m40

Hi, I have a Pajero 2800 Turbo 1995 Auto. It has developed a bad oil leak somewhere around the front right hand side (from the front) where there seems to be oil spraying over the pipes, etc. Can't see it happening with the engine running and have cleaned the engine off but still can't see where it comes from. It has emptied the sump! Any ideas?
Cheers,
Rob.
