Question about 2000 Lexus ES 300
The old belt broke off so i got a new belt and theres two bolts on the altenator and it looks to me that i got to take off the bottom bolt to lower the altenator to slide belt on then lift altenator up and line the bolt up but theres not enough give in the belt to let me line the bolt up to the altenator.
There should be an idler pulley that also adjust the tension the tool usually used is a 3\8 or 1\2 ratchet
