Your thermostat is located under a metal housing on the top of the engine. The upper radiator hose connects to this housing. To change the thermostat you basically need to drain the radiator after your engine is cold, disconnect the upper radiator hose from the engine, and remove the bolts from the small housing. replace the thermostat, and clean the surfaces on both sides and replace the gasket too. reinstall the housing, attach the hose, and refill the radiator. start the engine, warm it up and check for leaks, then re check the coolant level after the engine cools off again

Its a transverse mount engine so it is not on the top of the motor it is actually in a strange place. stand in front of the car with the hood open its on the passenger side between the motor and the radiator. you WILL have to jack the car up for this. it is in a housing i think that is connected by 2 or three hoses. BTW no matter what u will get wet but pay attention to how u remove the thermostat and the o ring

Need a wiring diagram for the entertianment system for a 1997 Linclon Continental

Use a multi meter to determine the two feeds of 12v and the earth ,then use a small 9v battery to check the speaker wires to determine which wirecolours are for what .its easier than you think to determine the wiring .

What's VDM where is located on 1996 linclon continental

well that stands for vehicle dynamic module and it is locate on the back of the back seat in the trunk. it is the square box that is about in the middle and is mounted underneath the rear deck. so when you get the trim panel off and expose all the wires look up where the speakers are mounted. might be just a little closer to the drivers side speaker.

if you have any more question please ask. good luck
