On any vehicle the starter motor is located on the same side of the car as the battery with few exemptions such as some vehicles that have rear seat mounted batteries.
generally follow the positve battery cable down and it will tie into your starter motors mounted solenoid.
Be sure to disconnect the battery cables while doing any electrical work on your vehicle....safety first.

Hi I would like to kw if a hyundai elantra j1 1994 model starter is the same like a hyundai sonata 1995 starter

Hi Warren, I had a 1995 Elantra and they were very good at reusing their tehnology on all their models. What engine size are you talking about here. Mine was 1600 GLS but there was a 1800 GLS as well. On the Sonata some had bigger engines which may have required stronger starter motors, so please check first.

How do I chage my inline positive battery fuse, and where is it located on a 1998 Hyundai sonata.

If you don't know where something is,
why would you assume you need to replace it?

Surely you know any fuse is just protection against
a current over load & a completing link in a circuit
so it has power

NO Fuse will fix anything

A main fuse as you suggest or were told would indicate
a serious problem beyond your ablitiy to resolve

You need a repair shop

Locating, removing and replacing starter motor on a 2000 hyundai sonata v6 (2.5 or 2.7 I believe) automatic

The starter is located below the exhaust manifold on the LH side of the engine (side facing the radiator). It is held in place by two 14mm bolts on the transmission side. Be sure to disconnect the battery before you attempt to remove the starter.

On a 2.7L it is located above and to the right of the starter. You will have remove the starter heat shield to gain access to it.

I have a hyundai sonata automatic which will turn

Yeah.. I have ideas.. .what you observe is normal. The 'check engine' light always comes on initially (until the engine is started) to verify the bulb is good. After the engine starts (and there's no problem with the power train, this light turns off (unless there's a problem, if such a problem exists, the check engine light will come back on).

1995 hyundai sonata turns over but will not start

sounds like a crank position sensor. Whenever the "Check Engine" light comes on, there is always a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the ECM (Engine Control Module). You'll need an OBDI/II (On-Board-Diagnostics) scanner to retrieve any codes recorded/set in ECM. Once you do this and let us know what, if any codes are set, then we can go from there.

Don't know the pin code for my CD player for Hyundai Sonata 2000 model.

If you bought the car new then you should have a credit card that came with the owners manual. that card has your stereo's code on it. If you bought it used then that card was probably new in car when you got it and you will have to go to the Hyundai Dealership and show proof of ownership and they will run the VIN and get the code for you.....

Hope this helps
