The relay is hard wired to the fuse box and the blower motor.Disconnect the motor andsee if it stays on. Test the motor ifwished first of all. The motor can have a drag on the armauture causing this probllllem

First, if the motor stays on, what does that mean? Second, how can this check be made without burning out another relay? When you say hard wired, what does that mean? and, would a fuse not blow before the relay burns up. The relay that just burned up, was the third one tried after replacing the wire and switch. All seemed to have burned up upon cranking up after letting the truck sit for a few days. When replaced, thet work at first, even for a few days, but when left without cranking for a few days, the relay is gone.

Take an OHM meter to the positive lead to the relay connector and ground the meters other lead to check for continuity. If it reads numbers of any kind you diffenetly have a short in that wire to the relay

I have a1994 toyota pickup and i am trying to replace the blower motor for the AC but the new motor will not come on and I have replaced the relay and checked the fuses . what else could be wrong

Do you have power to the motor and is the ground circuit working? Most systems have a resistor which is what varies the speed of the motor. Get a volt meter and check power and ground first. Then pull the resistor and check for power to and thru thew resistor.

The blower motor is not working on any of the speeds

have you tried to tap on it with the switch on to see if it will come on if not try that first.also see if the ac switch light comes on when you turn on the blower switch with ac button on. if the light comes on on the switch then the fuse should be good for part of the circuit. next thing i would do is unplug the blower motor and with a test light see if the red wire has power on it and if so replace blower motor and if not check the 10amp gauge fuse and the 40 amp heater fuse.if none of this is the problem then there is also a heater relay........most of the time it is either the 10 amp ac fuse or a bad blower motor.......i hope this will help you let me know if i helped you in any way and what you found out...............good luck..........

The heater fan is not working. Is it a fuse?

fuses are the easy thing to check just pull one and look at it if you see a burned spot replace it, checking relays and blower motor resesters and blower motors are harder if you dont know how to do it. there best left to a shop to check.

No air being blown when ac or heater is turned on

Relay, switch, fuse or the motor is bad. Check fuse first, then relay, then switch. If all that fails, try the blower motor

HAVE BATTERY VOLTAGE CHECKED.MAKE SURE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF YOU HAVE DIM TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS.EITHER YOU HAVE WRONG BULBS OR POOR GROUND ALSO THE WEAK BATTERY OR UNDERCHARGING PROBLEMS HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECK OUT. FOR THE BLOWER MOTOR.CHECK FUSE AND RELAY. IF BOTH GOOD YOU HAVE A FAULTY AC + HEATER CONTROL SWITCH.OR THE BLOWER MOTOR IS FAULTY.REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR HOT WIRE IT USING A JUMPER WIRE TO BATTERY.IF IT RUN YOU HAVE SWITCH OR WIRES TO SWITCH PROBLEMS. IF BLOWER MOTOR DONT RUN.REPLACE IT AND BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR.NOW IF WIPERS KEEP WORKING WHEN YOU TURN THEM OFF.YOU HAVE A FAULTY SWITCH OR DEFECTIVE LIMIT SWITCH IN THE MOTOR.

Replacing heater blower motor

this is not a problem with thw switch or motor. There is a resistor that is mounted inside the dash on the pasenger side that controls the speed of the blwer..these have a tendency to burn up after 10 years or so... replace the resistor, and you will be fine!  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Truck-A-C-Heater-Fan-Resistor_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33548QQihZ016QQitemZ260344846266QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW#ht_500wt_1230
