Question about Saturn SL2
The inability to shift through the gears could be due to a faulty speed pressure sensor and or pressure control solenoid. As you have already replaced the pressure control solenoid so get the speed pressure sensor checked. To locate the sensor you will have to drop the transmission pan, remove the valve body, and check the sensor.
If the car jerks or stalls while shifting gears then also check the EGR valve.
