It sounds like an exhaust pipe is broken causing you to have an exhaust leak. If you can drive your car to your local muffler shop that can either repair or replace the broken part.

What is causing loud muffler-like sound?

Could be a broken joint between the muffler and the exhaust pipe.
Could be a loose coupler on the exhaust pipe .

you could get it checked at an exhaust service center where they can hoist car up and look under the car and give you a report on iys cause and likely cost to fix.

Load poping noise coming from front axel on my side by side. Anyone know what this is?

I would check the hubs and make sure nothing is broken internally. Otherwise, you'll have to look at that front diff. If the oil leak is something new, you may have broken a ring or pinion gear in the differential. The pieces would be binding inside the housing, causing more damage. I would not drive it until it can be looked at, to limit any further damage.

Loud exhaust

While this could be a simple bad manifold gasket, I have had the down pipes go bad on these cars. If the engine is a 2.2L, the parts should be readily available at a salvage yard for not too much $. I've also had the exhaust pipes rust through where the pipe from the manifold joins the catalytic converter.

Firstly, be aware that springs can kill you. They have tons of force, enough to support your car, and if released can seriously damage or kill you.

So, being careful. Look for spring alignment. If the spring were to be rotated and thereby not correctly seated, it gets unevenly loaded and shifts form time to time. This shift can make quite a loud noise.

You may need to get a helper to turn the wheel while you observe from under the front end...
