SOURCE: I need to change freon in my dodge durango 2000

You don't. First off it contains R134 and not R12 Freon. You do not change refrigerant you add to it but only after you repair the leak. You add refrigerant at the low port side. Normally a blue or black cap with an L on it. It is the larger pipe. If you have no leak and the A/C is working fine then do nothing. If you have a leak then you need to have it repaired by a pro.

SOURCE: replace thermostat in 2000 durango

If you look down on the radiator, on the left side, there is a larrge hose coming out of the radiator toward the engine. Where the hose ends there is a housing with 2 bolts. The Thermostat is found under that. Remove the 2 bolts an replace the thermostat. Unles your arms are very long and thin, you will probably need to do this from under the car.
Perfect time to flush/fill all coolant. Check and replace any needed hoses/clamps.

How to add Freon to 2005 dodge Durango 5.7L HEMI V-8

This is one thing I insist people have a technician do. If you do not do it correctly two things will happen -- damage to the compressor and damage to the environment. First you need to have the CORRECT grade of Freon, and you need the access tool kit to make the connections and you have to have the correct volume of Freon.

2000 dodge durango, a/c compressor stopped working after freon was added, did I do something wrong?

at a rough guess you add excessive amounts of freon and that caused the compressor to seize up
gas is added using pressure gauges and not by the can
besides that did you use the correct gas as the r134a runs at a much higher pressure and will deliver liquid back to the compressor which is not good for the operation

Trying to replace a rear ac expansion valve for a 2000 dodge durango 4.7 but dont know exactly were it is. Or how to get replace it

Hi,
The expansion valve is located in the evaporator core, it is a brass made metal w/ temperature sensor tubing. Getting that expansion valve requires you to pull down the entire rear A/C blower box.
Am just curious, why are you replacing that valve?
An A/C tech will be better to do that job so that he will clean also the entire system and freon charging.
Hope that helps you out!

Where do i put freon on a 2005 dodge durango 4.7. can not find valve

The valve should be right on the A/C line that attaches to the compressor. Run your hand along it and see if some yahoo at the factory installed the line with the valve pointing down instead of up. It should be on the silver/metal section of the line.

Put freon in compressor and for three days it cools after that the air is hot

It sounds like you have a small, slow leak. I would get a leak detection kit that includes dye to put in the system, and a light and glasses to find the leak. Kind of sounds like an O ring leaking.

A/c compressor

It is against the law to release certain kinds of freon into the air. Take the car to a certified mechanic who has a freon recovery unit
