It seems like your Slave Cylinder for your clutch has a leak or you have a hose leak That part holds hydraulic fluid for the operation of your clutch assembly and linkage, I would refill the reservoir and have one person pump the clutch pedal while the other person is checking the part or ground to determine where the leak is originating from. I would replace that part or check the hose for leaks and replace as necessary.

Examine carefully to locate exact point of leak. Could be the hydraulic line, a connection between line & slave cylinder or master cylinder, or a bad slave cylinder. Once you identify the point of leak, I can help you with repair info if needed.

Clutch has no resistance and drops to the floor, fluid levels fine, no leaking, engine starts no problem. What could the problem be?

If you have a hydraulic system then bleed out the ait at the clutch slave cylinder. If you have a cable system check for missing/.broken connection at either end of the cable.

just had similar problem on my Jeep had to replace the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.
you can bleed some clutch master cylinders removing air in system check fluid level full then bleed master cylinder keeping an eye on fluid levels not to run system dry..

My 1999 sunfire clutch is not working fluid level is good but no hydraulics the clutch just goes to the floor

Your Slave Cylinder is bad, it is not holding pressure causing your clutch pedal to not work, it located on the driver's side of the firewall in the engine compartment.

Clutch problems w 2005 sunfire pedal falls right to the floor when depressed

Check fluid level of hydraulic clutch that would cause this condition if low in fluid or not bled of air.

My clutch wont engage it was working fine one day the next i had almost no resitance on my pedal

Check master for fluid level, check line going to slave unit, check slave unit (any leaks, you have found problem) If master is full, it may be internally bypassing in that case it may not leak but will not put pressure into the line. (fluid goes around piston instead of being pushed) If master is low and no obvious leak found, look under dash where clutch rod goes into the back of the master. you may find fluid there.

Clutch pedal goes to the floor, then after pulling it up there is pressure...

There is either air in the system or a leak in the clutch slave cylinder. Check your fluid make sure it is full and the cap is tight.
