2000 mercury cougar V6 cooling fans are not running an car over heats
Check the cooling fan relays, and the fuses, also if the thermostat is stuck, the coolant sensor will not sense the hot coolant, and will not activate the relay that turns the cooling fans on,also,if the coolant is low,or has air in the system it will do this also.
