Take it straight back to the place of repair as it could be a loose or broken calliper bolt this can cause a wheel to lock up , it may be noting to do with the brakes but you should never take a chance with brakes if you even suspect the noise is from the brakes ring the place that fitted the brakes and talk to them first as it should not be driven perhaps a tow or a onsite mechanic cheers

Knocking in the front driver side wheel

if the knocking is only on the drivers side when you turn to the right then it sounds like you have a drivers side front wheel bearing that needs replacing. also if the bearing is bad enough you won`t have to turn much to get the noise.

Knocking noise around the front passenger wheel area!?

Do you feel it in the steering wheel? if so it could be the intermediate steering shaft. If not it could be a sway bar link or bushing.

My car started making a knocking type sound when driving. Sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side. What could it be? The front struts were just replaced. Any ideas about this?

outer drive shaft coupling is primary suspect, it knocks on turns ,if its this then leave it till it gets worse ,is the rubber boot intact??
