Theres a possibility that the ignition switch is bad. if it is to bad, it will not let voltage through switch. to coils etc. meaning it will be difficult to start car. also check the security system, it may be stopping car from starting. make sure the security light is not on. the system will shut fuel pump down for about 15 minutes if it is the security system. good luck!!

Sounds like a short under the hood (probably near the ignition coil)

2005 Honda element ingition switch do you have to take strewing wheel off

No, you don't have to take the wheel off. Just have to take the cover off between the wheel and the dash. Once that's off, then you will have access to the ignition. The only thing is, when you get your new ignition in, you will have to take it to a Honda dealer and have the ignition and key coded together. It will save you some money to put it in yourself, but you will have to tow it wherever the closest dealer is for you.

Keyless entry

That has to be done with the special scanner called a Tech2 at the dealer, the scanner allows for an interface to be established with the security module for reprogramming, so sorry you can't do this at home.

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer that will turn over but will not start. I reset the fuel pump switch, but that did't help, any suggestions.

ignition problems start with a new cranksensor if it has tbs or multiport ... if it has a distribitor change the pickup coil or ingition control module
