Still waiting on answer for golf sdi wont start loud juddering noise from gears.

Volkswagon golf sdi 2.0 2007 model broke down and wont start. when trying to turn over gear stick makes loud juddering noise and moves side to side.

This is a difficult question to give a definitive answer and could only be answered by putting the vehicle on diagnostic equipment to check the error codes that must be in the ECU. The thing that caused it to break down could be anything from fuel starvation to sensor, coil or CDI problems. The gearbox thing is also puzzling, gearboxes do fail, but they don't take the engine with it, engines fail, but don't take the gearbox with it.

I would tow it to a Volkswagon dealership and ask for an estimate. May well be beyond economical repair.

What's your question? i have a problem with my man truck tgl 7,180 showing edc 03076-09 mot cut off power even when key removed

I hate it when my man truck fails. Doesn't happen often but it's always embarrassing when it does. Seems to happen more as it gets older.

Please rephrase your question, and specify the YEAR, MAKE, MODEL and ENGINE of the vehicle, and PLEASE PHRASE YOUR QUESTION IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT MAY BE ANSWERED.

I just found out today that my u-joints in the back drive line is going out, I am looking to fine out how long I can drive my Jimmy before I can't drive it anymore. Does anyone have an answer to this...

How much does a rock weigh?

How often do you drive it?
How far do you drive it?
How many times do you stop and go?
How worn is it now?
How often do you slam the shifter F to R and back?
Do you carry any significant weight?

It is going to run until it fails, no one can answer that type of question.

When do u recommend changing the timingbelt on 02 audi a8l?

My sincere apologies for the severely delayed response.
I am personally going back to answer your unanswered questions.

I do not know if you still need this information, however I am answering it in case you still do.

Standard Answer for Timing Belts/Chains: 100,000 to 120,000 miles is when the Timing Belts/Chains start malfunctioning or failing. Some people want to go ahead and change them before malfunctions/failures happen.
I just replaced mine on 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan which just turned 100K. Most Timing Belt/Chain failures will cause more costly engine damage when these fail, including bent valves or a need to replace/rebuild an entire engine.
