There are several possible causes to your problem.

Most likely it is a ball joint.
A bad strut mount will make a similar noise. Sometimes dirt/rust in-between the strut spring and the rubber insulators can cause a creak.
If the environment is really dry or the rubber bushings on the car are really old, they can cause a creaking noise.

I would have it checked out because if it is a ball joint, it will eventually cause uneven tire wear and can even separate, resulting in total loss of control of the vehicle.

My car is whistling when I start it and it's making creaking noises like something about to pop

Whistling noise while the car is just sitting if often a vacuum leak in the engine compartment. Could also be a leak in the AC/Heater blower ventilation...and would cease when fan motor is turned off. Also could be a leaf or debris stuck in the recirc vent door causing air to leak by. Again, most likely to occur only when vent fan motor is running. The creaking noises (if while moving) is an indication of needing a front end lube job (normally performed during oil changes). All the rubber joints become dry and the vehicle will sound like a creaky old baby carriage with even the slightest movement of the vehicle body.. These are common issues, and give you a place to start investigating given the limited information provided. Best of luck resolving these issues.

2000 Lincoln makes creaking noise when turning right.

You should go to a front-end alignment place and have them check the Balljoints and tierod ends. Some of the front wheel drive cars have Upper strut bearings and Constant Velocity joints.

When you hear the creaking sounds it means the parts are rusty and rubbing together. They are considered "Lubed for Life" and if they are dry and rusty their life is gone.

These parts hold the 2 front wheels together so they both turn with the wheel. The Balljoints hold the weight of the car and are the framework for the wheels.

Poor alignment caused by worn parts will destroy tires early. It is not something to ignore but it is possible only 1 part is bad out of many. It is customary to align the wheels after front end work. Some front wheel drive cars need periodic alignment on the back wheels too. So you can believe this if a shop suggests it.

When turning left or right steering makes a creaking noise mainly from drivers side wheel, also when stationary drivers side makes creaking noise when pushing down on the wing, after the car has cooled...

This sound is coming from your strut. Sometimes they will get water in the seals, or dirt, and they will start creaking exactly as you describe. This isn't a big problem unless you can't live with it, and if this is the case, just replace the strut on that side. When the car bounces when you press on that side, then you need to worry about that strut, but otherwise, it's ok.

That noise sounds to me like a Ball Joint problem. I would check to see if you have fittings to grease the front suspention.
