Question about 2000 Ford Expedition
Hello, I see a lot of ignition switch problems on the Ford portion of this site. Its an inexpensive part and can shut off all of the items you list. If it stays on it can kill the battery too!
Double check the Cruise Control for the Recall with Vin#. It had a short built-in, but after the Recall fix some vehicles had problems with the electrics on the 4x4 and even brake lights.
There were some problems with the starter end wiring off the main loom. Have your battery checked for shorting. Check main chassis grounds, I believe there is one on the frame under the passengers front door. Please let me know what you found and I can pass ot on.
