Question about 1990 Mazda MPV
Check spark plugs, leads if fitted or ignition coils sounds like spark is "jumping" due to poor insulation, cheapest option is to try plugs first then leads( if fitted) if it is induvidial coils, wait untill engine is running ok then spray water on each coil in turn and not the effect
